It’s hard to believe that we’re already in April! March was such a strange month and it brought so much uncertainty to everyone. It’s been scary to say the least, but I’m staying positive and hoping things will settle down in the coming weeks. With the rapidly changing quarantine adjustments that took place in a matter of weeks, my shopping list really took a turn. I would typically be shopping for transitional outerwear, statement tops, and even a few spring dresses during this time. However, my priorities shifted quickly with everything that was happening. Instead, I focused a lot on casual basics, loungewear, and denim that would keep me comfortable at home. So many retailers also came through offering amazing deals on their spring collections and I made sure to take advantage of that. Today, I wanted to share the top 10 items in my wardrobe that you guys enjoyed most.
Balmain Tweed Blazer (wearing an FR34) | Nordstrom Tank | Daze Denim (wearing a 24 – under $60!) | Fendi Sunglasses | Rag & Bone Gold Chain Necklace (on sale now!) | Bottega Veneta Bag | Christian Louboutin Heels
As much as I love a statement blouse for spring, a white ribbed tank top is the easiest thing to wear right now. This one is perfect for layering underneath blazers and cardigans, but also looks great on its own tucked into high-waisted denim. It’s lightweight but not sheer and feels more expensive than it really is.
These jeans were one of my favorite purchases of the month because of the relaxed fit, faded wash, and distressing that’s fitting for spring. They’re a complete steal at under $50 – and are selling so fast!
& Other Stories Blazer (wearing a 0, similar here) | Louis Vuitton Multi Pochette Accessories | Zara Faux Leather Pants (similar here) | Steve Madden Heels (under $100) | Celine Sunglasses (better for budget here)
I’m obsessed with the square toe and PVC strap on these sandals, which feel both trendy yet polished. They’re so versatile and look great with any outfit. I’m looking forward to wearing them more throughout the spring and summer months. Although we’re all cooped up at home, it’s a great shoe to buy now and wear later.
Mango Sheer Top (wearing an XS) | Faux Leather Belted Pants (on sale now!) | Scoop Heels ($30!) | Bottega Veneta The Pouch (budget version here) | Dior Lucky Locket Necklace (better for budget here) | Ear Crawler Earrings
I can always count on a good pair of leather trousers to elevate my outfit and add some edge. This pair by Abercrombie is super comfortable and looks so flattering with the high-waisted fit and tapered ankles. The tie-waist adds a nice touch that really accentuates the body.
My favorite spring and summer bag is now on sale at FWRD, which is a deal that’s super hard to pass up. I’m glad that many of you are taking advantage of the sale price since I paid the full price last year. It’s incredibly roomy and can hold so much, making it a great travel bag. Even though it’s made from linen, it has a good structure to it that helps maintain its shape. If you’re interested in a full review, you can read more of that here.
If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you’ve probably noticed that I wear these Levi’s jeans all the time. They’re seriously one of my go-to pairs. The classic skinny fit looks great dressed up or down and the wash is just perfect for the warmer months.
White Gucci Belt (wearing a 75 – read my ‘Gucci Belt Sizing Guide’ HERE) | Gucci Logo Tee (wearing an XXS) | Gucci Marmont White Bag (mini size shown) | Levi’s Jeans (run TTS) | Balmain Blazer (wearing an FR34, better for budget here) | Christian Louboutin Red Heels (size down 1/2 size, better for budget here)
The Gucci belt is perhaps one of the best wardrobe investments I’ve ever made, and it seems like many of you agree! It’s such an easy way to dress up jeans and a tee but also looks great with dressier ensembles. You really can’t go wrong with this designer piece!
I used to wear Abercrombie jeans all the time back then, and I’m slowly finding myself shopping there more frequently. I love that this pair has a good amount of stretch so it’s almost as comfy as leggings. The exposed button fly is also a nice update to my denim collection.
I think it’s safe to say most of us are living in loungewear lately – and I have to admit that I’ve had this Abercrombie sweat suit on constant rotation. It seems that many of you were loving the sweatpants too because they’ve now sold out! I found a similar pair that looks just as comfy and stylish – here!
I own the Nike Blazer sneaker in a few different color ways because I love the urban, street chic look. I knew it was time for a white pair to go with the warmer weather, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I’ve actually been wearing them more than my other shoes lately because I can’t get enough of the retro vibe. I’m so happy that you guys are loving it too!
