Sweats, cozy shorts, leggings, and t-shirts have no doubt become staples in my weekly outfit rotation. However, I’ve been craving new warm weather pieces since summer just started. There’s something about dressing up that makes me feel better and overall, more confident. Whenever I want to indulge in a little retail therapy without splurging too much, I head straight to Saks OFF 5TH. It’s my favorite off-price retailer to score the best summer outfits for less. Think designer brands like BCBGMAXAZRIA, Rebecca Taylor, Cult Gaia and more without the original high price tag!

Lucky for you, the Saks OFF 5TH Friends & Family sale kicks off today and ends Sunday, June 28th, which means you can score greater savings. During this time, you can take an extra 25% off purchases of $150+. If you’re ready to change up your outfit rotation this summer, I’m sharing some of my favorite pieces that will help you achieve that without giving up the cool comfort of your loungewear.

Slip Dress

The slip dress is the perfect replacement for sweatpants when you want to be comfortable but put-together. It’s not a new trend by any means, but it happens to be one of those classic pieces that you can keep in your wardrobe forever – and wear throughout the year. The blush pink slip dress I’m wearing is under $100 but looks and feels way more expensive. I love how the satin drapes over the body effortlessly, and I have to admit, it feels as snug as my go-to loungewear pieces. It just looks more stylish.

Tunic dresses are another amazing quarantine outfit because they’re a comfortable one-piece you can throw on to wear around the house. You can accessorize it with a straw hat and espadrille wedges when you’re running out but then swap out the shoes for slippers once you’re back inside.

You guys already know that I can never pass up a blazer. As temperatures rise, the key to pulling it off is to stick to lighter colors and cotton or linen fabrications so you don’t have to worry about overheating. The Rebecca Taylor blazer I’m wearing is made from a rich cotton and linen blend, so it’s a perfect example of that. The subtle pinstripe print was another bonus for me since it’s so different from the blazers I already own. You can easily throw this one over spaghetti strap dresses or basic tees and tanks for a work-from-home-approved outfit.

I’ve always been obsessed with shoes and love experimenting with various styles throughout the summer season. Saks OFF 5TH carries all my favorite affordable brands from Sam Edelman to Schutz to BCBGeneration and beyond! I’m currently coveting espadrilles, white sandals, and styles that wrap around the ankle because I love the way they add a feminine touch to any outfit. Plus, you guys know I’m all about versatility and any of these options look flawless with jeans, dresses, or shorts.

xo, Maria
