Over the past month, I have been sharing more and more designer handbag reviews, and you guys have been requesting that I write about the Louis Vuitton Palm Springs Backpack Mini. I purchased this bag late last fall and it’s been incredibly hard to get a hold of ever since. I don’t really think of myself as a backpack girl, but I instantly fell in love with the sporty yet ultra-feminine vibe of this mini bag. It’s so lightweight and functional, and I just knew I’d be able to wear it in various ways. I’m so happy I purchased it because it’s nearly impossible to find brand new today. Although the bag also comes in a reverse monogram print, I prefer the classic one and feel that it’ll be more timeless.

What Can You Fit Inside?

The Louis Vuitton Palm Springs Backpack Mini comes in a few different sizes, but the mini is my personal favorite for a few reasons. The removable straps are not only a huge bonus, but the bag is quite roomy. I know some of you are concerned that the bag might be too small to be practical for daily use. However, it measures 6.7 x 8.7 x 3.9 inches, which is really big enough to store all your daily essentials and more. I was super surprised at how much it actually holds and have been carrying it in place of my Neverfull tote.

How To Wear It?

One of the questions I get asked most is how to wear the Palm Springs Backpack. I actually really love this bag for the straps. It comes with two straps that are removable and adjustable, so you can wear it like a backpack, crossbody, or on the shoulder. My favorite way to carry it is as crossbody bag. To carry it this way, you just need to make one strap longer and remove the other.

I love styling this bag with more casual everyday outfits that include leggings, denim, or athleisure pieces. However, you can easily pair it with a sweater dress and over-the-knee boots as seen below. The classic monogram print also makes it really versatile to wear with a variety of outfits.

Is It Worth The Price? Would I Buy It Again?

The Louis Vuitton Palm Springs Backpack Mini is listed for $1,990 on the Louis Vuitton website (here) although it’s no longer available as I mentioned above. Pre-owned styles are currently selling between $2,400-$2,900, which I think really underscores the worth and value of this bag. It’s definitely in demand and has more than retained it’s value.

The casual backpack design also makes it easy to carry so you’ll get more wear from it than other bag styles that might be better suited for formals and evening events.
