The past week has been crazy with all the major sales and cyber deals happening. So, I thought I’d take a break from all the noise and share some of my favorite outfits from last month. We’re already seeing a ton of snow throughout Minnesota even though it’s still fall in most parts of the country. That means most of my fall looks have transitioned into full-blown winter layers. With cold weather on the horizon for the rest of you guys, I hope these outfits give you guys some ideas on what to wear in the days leading up to Christmas.
Topshop Camel Coat (under $150) | Commando Black Bodysuit | Commando Faux Leather Leggings (wearing a S) | Chanel 19 Shearling Bag (similar here) | Chanel Beige Combat Boots (available in the Mia Mia Mine Shop, similar here and here) | Saint Laurent Sunglasses
1. Neutral Outfit Combo
I don’t think there’s any color combination I love more than black and camel. I discovered this classic Topshop coat from Nordstrom last month and ended up purchasing it in two colors. The oversized fit is just right for all my winter layers.
Topshop Olive Green Coat | Louis Vuitton Shawl (similar here, better for budget here) | Nordstrom Tan Coated Denim (similar here and here) | Louis Vuitton Pouch 26 | Christian Louboutin So Kate Pumps (better for budget here) | Ray-Ban Aviator Sunglasses
2. All Layered Up
I can’t live without a heavy duty parka, but it can sometimes be hard to style. On days when I need to stay warm but also look put together, I resort to layers. An oversized blanket scarf wrapped around a long coat is foolproof for a stylish yet practical look.
Express Ivory Coat (wearing an XXS, also love this one) | Similar Cardigan (better for budget here) | Nordstrom Tan Coated Denim (similar here and here) | Gucci Ace Sneakers | Gucci Marmont Mini Bag | Similar NY Yankees Cap
3. Winter Weekend
This is an outfit I’d wear while running errands in the winter. The sneakers and baseball cap keep the entire outfit casual while the white coat makes it feel modern and elevated.
Topshop Double Breasted Coat | Nordstrom Cowl Neck Sweater | Commando Vinyl Leggings (wearing a S) | Givenchy Antigona Bag | Similar Combat Boots (also here)
4. Winter Wardrobe Staples
If you were to ask me what my winter staples were, I’d say a neutral coat, faux leather leggings and combat boots. If you already own several pairs of sleek leggings, I’d recommend trying out a vinyl pair. They’re so easy to dress up or down – and always make a bold statement.
Topshop Faux Shearling Biker Jacket | Nordstrom Cowl Neck Sweater | Similar Gray Jeans | Givenchy Antigona Bag | Gianvito Rossi Gray Pumps | Saint Laurent Sunglasses
5. Winter Biker Jacket
This faux shearling biker jacket from Topshop was such a big hit last year, and it turns out that you guys are still loving it too! It’s a great edgy piece to throw over the most casual outfits.
Walmart Plaid Shacket | Hanes White T-Shirt | Scoop Faux Leather Pants | Scoop Faux Sherpa Hiker Boots | Scoop Faux Sherpa Crossbody Bag | Similar Pom Pom Beanie
6. Plaid Shacket
Last month, I also got a hold of a few plaid shirt jackets. They’re quickly becoming one of my favorite winter trends because they’re so easy to style. My favorite way to wear them is with chunky lace-up boots and leggings or skinny jeans.
QVC Olive Green Parka (on sale now) | Commando Bodysuit | Blank Denim Faux Leather Pants (wearing a 24, run TTS) | Moncler Beanie | Moon Boots | Prada Cahier Bag | Saint Laurent Sunglasses
7. Chic Snow Outfit
If you’re on the hunt for a reasonably priced parka that actually keeps you warm, definitely check out this one. I was surprised at how insulated it felt when I took it for a test run in the Minnesota snow.
Express Mock Neck Sweater (wearing an XS) | Express Black Skinny Jeans (wearing a 00R) | Express Chunky Knit Scarf | Stuart Weitzman Over-The-Knee Boots | Saint Laurent Sunset Bag | Saint Laurent Sunglasses
8. Shades Of Gray
Gray is such a trendy color this winter, and I couldn’t be more excited for it. To make it work, try mixing different shades of gray together and playing with textures for added interest. My entire outfit above is currently on sale, including the boots!
Clinique Even Better All-Over Concealer + Eraser | Max Mara Teddy Bear Coat (better for budget here and here) | Tularosa Sweater | Commando Vinyl Leggings (wearing a S) | Similar Combat Boots (also love this one) | Louis Vuitton Neverfull Tote | Similar Pom Pom Beanie
9. Cozy With An Edge
One color combination that I’ll be wearing a ton of this winter is black and brown. I find this amusing because it was one of those old-age fashion rules to never break. Seeing that this look was so popular last month, I’m glad you guys agree too!
Express Sherpa Coat | Express Coated Jeans | Mango Sweetheart Neckline Sweater (similar here and here) | Moncler Beanie (also love this one) | Similar Combat Boots (also love this one) | Chanel 19 Handbag | Similar Cat Eye Sunglasses
10. Teddy Bear Coat
I’ve purchased so many teddy bear coats over the years, and I have to admit that this one comes closest to my Max Mara teddy coat. The oversized fit is perfect – and I love the ivory color that goes with so many outfits!
