What To Wear On Christmas Day

fashion blogger mia mia mine wearing a revolve sweater dress and cardiganIt’s hard to believe that Christmas is already next week! With this time of year being so busy shopping for last minute gifts, I often forget to think about what I’m going to wear for all the holiday gatherings. Luckily, there are a few combinations that are a safe bet for a chic and stylish look. I wanted to share some of my favorite holiday pieces that you can still score in time for Christmas now that we only have 10 days left to go. Whether you’re in need of an office party outfit or something cozy to wear on Christmas morning, keep scrolling for my favorite looks that can be adapted to any occasion.

1. Sweater Dress & Cardigan

A sweater dress and cardigan combination is my go-to for any cold weather event. I love that it’s insanely easy to dress up or down – and that you can play with endless color pairings.

2. Sequin Top & Jeans

For an outfit that looks both low-key and dressy at the same time, try pairing a sequin top with high-waisted jeans. You can further dress things up with statement earrings or skip jewelry altogether to tone down the party vibes.

3. Cozy Tunic & Knee High Socks

A sherpa or fleece tunic sweater was made for cozy, laid back celebrations. They’re super cute with a pair of knee-high socks or faux fur slippers.

4. Plaid Shacket & Faux Leather Leggings

If you’re aiming for all-day comfort, you can throw a plaid shacket on top of some faux leather leggings and call it a day. Going for a red plaid print will instantly lift your holiday spirit.

5. Cozy Sweater & Faux Leather Pants

If you’re unsure of what the dress code will be, a cozy sweater with faux leather pants is failproof. I’m partial to red and white sweaters because they tend to look more elevated on Christmas day.

6. Sequin Dress & Blazer

For an office holiday party or dinner with co-workers, I love a sequin dress underneath a smart blazer. It’s a fun upgrade from a basic little black dress and can easily transition to late night drinks.

7. Fair Isle Sweater

A fair isle sweater is one of my favorite things to wear throughout winter. It also happens to make the ultimate at-home Christmas day outfit. Whether you opt for a sweater or dress version, fair isle patterns are a fun and festive alternative to standard neutrals.
