It’s hard to believe that Valentine’s Day is less than 10 days away. Like most holidays this past year, things are probably going to be different – but it’s the best excuse to wear something outside of sweatpants. That doesn’t mean you have to wear the usual get-up of ruffles, florals, or printed hearts either. I tend to keep it simple in neutrals with subtle hints of pink and red so it feels festive just enough. If you still haven’t found the right look, I’m sharing five easy Valentine’s Day outfits that are perfect whether you’re in need of a cozy at-home ensemble or want to use this occasion to get fully glammed up.

Leather & Lace
Leather and lace are two of my favorite things to wear because they’re the perfect contrast of feminine and edgy. In the fall and winter seasons, this combo is only made better with a cozy cardigan layered on top. I love that the slightest hint of lace screams romance.
Wrap Knit Dress With A Pop Of Red
A wrap knit dress is a foolproof option for Valentine’s Day because you get the comfort of a cozy sweater – and the form of a cocktail dress. Opt for one in neutral shades, like white or camel, so you can play with festive accessories. My favorites are a handbag, bold earrings or pair of shoes in red.
A red jumpsuit is the simplest way to feel put together – and the best part is that a flowy silhouette is just as comfy as loungewear. If wearing red sounds too cliche, I can assure you that it’s show-stopping enough to earn you compliments when worn in the form of a jumpsuit.
Cami NYC Lace Bodysuit (sold out, similar here and here) | Levi’s Denim (wearing a 24, under $100) | Saint Laurent Sunset Wallet On Chain | Similar Pearl Hoops | Christian Louboutin White Heels (better for budget here) | Venus Et Fleur
Bustier Top & Denim
I love that lingerie-inspired trends are becoming a part of mainstream fashion. From corsets to bustiers and lace bralettes, they take that sexy, romantic vibe up a notch but in a classy way. If you’re enjoying a casual dinner at home or heading out for dinner, a lace bustier top paired with your favorite jeans is the way to go.
Sweater Dress & Textured Tights
A sweater dress with textured tights is a safe bet if you have no idea how you’ll be celebrating. Over-the-knee boots add a cool, downtown vibe, but you can always trade the boots for pumps for a dressier look.
