It’s almost the end of February, and by this point in the year, I’m so over the snow storms and ready for spring. It doesn’t help that I spend so much of my time browsing the latest drops and reporting on trends. It only makes me wish the warmer weather was already here. Although we have several more weeks of winter to go, I’ve decided to get a head start on my spring shopping. I’ve already created a huge wish list and have been adding a ton of cute pieces to my virtual shopping cart. If you’re thinking about what you need to invest in for the upcoming season, keep scrolling for the 10 pieces below that you don’t want to miss.

1. Trench Coat
Trench coats are a must for spring when the mornings and evenings are chilly – and it tends to rain more. I love throwing a trench over anything to elevate an outfit. Lately, I’ve been wanting to try an oversized fit for more of a relaxed, casual vibe.
Revolve White Shirt Dress (exact style sold out, similar here) | Rag & Bone Hat (better for budget here) | Cella Jane Shop Necklaces | Saint Laurent Red Wallet on Chain | Mango White Heels (sold out, similar here and here)
2. Shirt Dress
Shirt dresses are the easiest dress style a girl can own. They strike the right balance of being casual yet dressy, so you can wear them anywhere. I love anything with a cinched or tie waist detail because it makes a shirt dress feel that much more feminine.
3. Sweater Set
If you want to nail that spring transitional look, you need to add some cardigan sets to your closet. The best thing about them is that you can lose the cardigan and style the cami with jeans in the summer.
LoveShackFancy Dress (wearing an XS, better for budget here) | Rag & Bone Panama Hat (better for budget here) | Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Tote | Castañer Wedges (better for budget here) | Daniel Wellington Watch | Similar Bracelet
4. White Dress
Little white dresses were made for the warmer months. You’d be missing out if you didn’t add at least one new style to your wardrobe. I love anything from lace to eyelet to linen and more!
5. Strappy Heels
Minimalist strappy heels are going to dominate this spring. I love that they’re so versatile and can take you from baggy jeans to mini dresses effortlessly. Opt for a mid-heel height so you can get the most comfort out of them.
6. Swimsuit Cover Up
The endless snow days have me thinking about the beach a lot lately. If you’re on the hunt for a swimsuit cover up, I found the cutest two-piece sets that’ll help you perfect that effortless vacation look.
If you’re shopping for swimsuit cover ups, you should also be adding swimwear to your cart. Underwire cups and knotted details are not only trendy, but super flattering on us petite girls.
8. Tan Sandals
When it comes to nude shoes or accessories, I just can’t quit. I’ve been eyeing these Gucci sandals forever now, and it might be time to bite the bullet since they’re available in the most gorgeous color.
9. Straw Handbags
Spring getaways just wouldn’t be the same without a straw tote. They don’t just take a warm weather outfit to another level but are essential for holding your goods at the beach or by the pool.
