Winter might still be in full swing, but I’m so ready for spring weather to roll in. It’s always so hard to pull an outfit together when I constantly have spring fashion on my mind. But since it’ll be a while before the weather warms up in Minnesota, I’m in no rush to load up my online carts with spring pieces. Instead, I’ve been looking for ways to make my winter looks more spring friendly and have purchased only a few new pieces along the way. This will come in handy since we’ll soon be in that strange transitional period when the weather is simultaneously hot and cold. If you’re looking for winter-to-spring outfits you can wear now, keep scrolling for my favorite looks.
Work: Blazer, Neutral Top & High-Waisted Jeans
I always turn to classic staples to get me through any transitional periods. Pieces like blazers and ribbed bodysuits in neutral colors are super easy to layer when you need to stay warm – but also look great alone if it gets too hot out. I especially love how they bring a touch of spring into your workwear wardrobe.

Everyday: Maxi Cardigan & Lace Bodysuit
Finding cute new tops always gets me in the mood for spring fashion. I’m very into lace bodysuits and bustier-inspired tops this season. You can wear them now with cozy cardigans and jeans, then pair them with cutoff shorts later on. This is a look you can wear anywhere any day of the week. However, I’d probably wear it to go shopping or to meet up with friends.

Date Night: Faux Shearling Coat, Knit Midi Dress & Pumps
A knit midi dress is the perfect piece when you’re in between seasons. You can dress it down during the day with sneakers and a leather jacket or dress it up with some pumps and a faux fur coat for a date night. Either way, it looks so chic and feminine.

Easter: Wide Leg Pants & Cardigan Set
It’s always hard to say whether Easter will be warm or cold. However, since it’s taking place earlier this year, I’m expecting it to be a bit chilly. This is an easy yet polished look to wear when it’s not too hot and not too cold. I love how it combines both classic pieces and of-the-moment trends.
Wedding: Lace Midi Dress
Spring weddings will soon be kicking off and you definitely want to be prepared for the occasion. If floral or bright colored dresses feel inappropriate for this transitional timeframe, go for a lace midi dress that looks just as stunning underneath cozy winter layers.
