I can’t think of anything more essential for the warmer seasons than a pair of denim shorts. Although they come in so many variations these days from a longer, bermuda style short to a high-rise waist, you can be sure they’ll remain a key piece in your wardrobe for years. After giving this staple a break for almost an entire year, I thought I’d share some of the ways I’ll be bringing it back in 2021. 1. Graphic Tee, Blazer & Heels

A blazer and denim combination will forever be my go-to whether that’s a pair of jeans or cutoff shorts. You’ll see me wear variations of this look all year long. To keep things effortlessly chic, wear a graphic tee underneath and throw on a pair of heels.

2. Sweatshirt & Oversized Tote

If you’re combatting chilly mornings and evenings with mild afternoons, picking an outfit is as easy as throwing on a graphic sweatshirt and denim shorts. Although simple, you can always ramp it up with an oversized tote bag and chic slides.

3. Off-The-Shoulder Top & Fedora

For a more polished outfit, I love pairing my denim cutoffs with an off-the-shoulder top. It instantly dresses up the casual vibes of the shorts. Plus, you can always inject more summer energy into this combination with accessories. I love a fedora or woven handbag.

4. Button-Down Top & Logo Belt

If you’re style tends to be more classic, you can always opt for a button-down top. There are so many ways to wear it whether you want to style it with a bralette underneath, tie the ends together at the waist, or wear it tucked in. Either way, it looks completely flawless with denim shorts.

5. Lace Top & Wedges

Denim shorts are the perfect going out or vacation piece. It’s always so much fun to wear with a lace top or puff sleeve blouse. The only thing left to complete the outfit is some wedge espadrilles.

6. Bodysuit & Clutch

A fail proof look you can’t go wrong with is a bodysuit and cutoffs. You guys know I’m obsessed with basics, so this is something I can wear everyday. Changing up your shoes or bag helps keep it fresh.
