That’s why it’s oftentimes better to stick to updated classics that can keep you looking current. Think seasonal essentials like flirty dresses and floral prints meshed with timeless blazers and trousers – that’s really all you need to create some fresh new outfits. If you don’t want to spend a ton of money updating your wardrobe, then you might want to consider shopping around at Walmart. As they continue to level up their fashion department, I find myself going back for smart, affordable buys that keep my looks on point. The free two day shipping on orders $35+ is always enticing when I need something fast. If you’re ready to update your new-season wardrobe with the best and most affordable buys, then keep scrolling for my favorite pieces from Walmart

1. Blazer

I rely on blazers all year long, but especially in the summer when I need to quickly elevate an outfit. I can be picky about blazers, so when I find a brand I like, I usually stick to it. Scoop at Walmart is easily one of my top picks for affordable blazers. This linen one is the perfect weight for summer and fits well even if you’re petite thanks to the scrunch sleeves.

2. Updated Top

Basic tees are getting updated with unique necklines, bow tie details and cutouts this summer. One of my personal favorites is this chic yet affordable halter top. Just add the right bottoms and you have the perfect outfit to get you through the season.

3. Linen Shorts

I’ve been on a linen high lately, and was instantly drawn to these shorts. I just love how they have you warm weather ready instantly. Plus, they’re such a low key piece that you can style in any way. That makes it a smart buy to me.

4. Summer Dress

Summer just wouldn’t be the same without flowy, breezy dresses that you can wear anywhere. Fortunately, you don’t have to blow your budget to score some cute pieces for your summer outings. I found a few options at Walmart that work for happy hour, al fresco dinners, and more.

5. Swimwear

Every girl needs one or two swimsuits for a beach getaway or pool party. Bold colors, playful prints, and one-pieces are all must-have styles this year – and you can find them all at Walmart. I’m loving this one, which can double up as a bodysuit when you’re out and about. It comes in all the best colors too!

6. Matching Set

Matching sets are the trend every girl needs to try. Whether you opt for a loungewear set or an elevated two-piece, they can be reworked into various outfit combinations. Walmart carries the best of both worlds.

7. Relaxed Pants

Relaxed trousers continue to rise in popularity – and they’re one of my summer staples for easy, chic style. They don’t just keep you cool in the humid weather, but look great for summer BBQs, work, and anything in between.

8. Sandals

When it comes to the best summer sandals, it’s a toss up between slides and strappy options. I find that slides are great for casual wear while strappy ones are better for special occasions. Having one of each on hand will ensure you’re prepped for whatever comes your way.

9. Summer Handbag

A summer bag made from natural textures is an effortless way to perfect a casual outfit. You can carry it to work or take it on your next vacation and it looks instantly stylish. The best part is that these summer bags are big enough to carry your essentials and more.

10. Sunglasses

There’s no such thing as too many sunglasses. I love having them in every shape from aviators to round and cat-eye to square frames. They always add that finishing touch to a summer look.

xo, Maria
