I always get excited to shop the home section of the sale because you can score great deals on really luxurious items and they often have exclusive colors and scents that you can’t get anywhere else. It’s also a great time to start thinking about gifts for upcoming weddings, birthdays and even the holidays! The best part is that the savings are substantial. I typically stock up on my favorite candles, a new throw or two, and then see if there are any gadgets I’m missing. (I’m particularly loving this sparkling soda maker and this steamer that’s super easy to travel with). I usually buy items I want in the early part of the sale and try them out before sharing my favorites with you guys so all of these are tried and tested pieces! I love anything carbonated, but hate the idea of buying anything with synthetic compounds – which a lot of flavored sodas have in them. Stock up on these fresh-smelling hand soaps while they’re under $20. Since this is real soap, you don’t need nearly as much as you would with regular soaps that are mostly packed with chemicals and water. This one is both sulfate-and-preservative-free too. 

This lotion is quite possible the most hydrating lotion I’ve ever used! It has ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, almond oil, and squalane and it’s only preservative is tree bark extract – which also has an exfoliating and anti-inflammatory effect, making the lotion suitable for people with skin issues like acne. We’ve been using this lotion for a few weeks now and I’ve noticed a HUGE difference in my hands already. I feel like I’ve reversed time and they say you can always tell someone’s age by looking at their hands!

You guys know I’m all about investing in quality clothing that will last, but it’s not just about the initial investment – you have to invest in maintaining the pieces you wear too. The main way I maintain apparel is by using a high-quality steamer.
