I always start my search for pre-fall items in the middle of August since I know unpredictable weather is just around the corner. During this time, I’m usually on the hunt for lightweight jackets, updated footwear, and layering basics that are great for wearing from summer to fall. Fall is all about layering and I’m looking to get a head start on that every chance I can get. Luxe Knit

Layers are great for building a versatile wardrobe, so adding new knitwear to your closet is essential. I’m particularly fond of cropped cardigans and collared sweaters, which look as amazing with your summer basics as they do with true fall pieces. Shoes
