Fall is my absolute favorite season. The mild temperatures make it easy to stay outside longer and I always love cozying up in my favorite sweaters. Besides fashion, I also enjoy the beautiful changing leaves and all the fun fall activities that Phil and I can do with our little fur family. Whether it’s a sporting event, a few hours at a local pumpkin patch or even a night around a bonfire, we definitely stay busy around this time of year. I’m sure so many of you guys do too since I’ve been getting so many questions about what to wear to these fall events. For me, it’s all about pieces that are both comfortable and easy. Sporting Event

Whether you’re a serious sports fanatic or casually watch the games with friends and family on the sidelines, you’ll need to dress for the weather. During fall, temperatures can dip quickly after the sun goes down, so cozy layers is key. I love a graphic sweatshirt with faux leather leggings and sneakers for maximum comfort. The Spanx leggings are my go to in this situation.

Winery

I always love a late afternoon that involves delicious wine, breathtaking views, and beautiful weather. Dressing for the occasion is all about striking the perfect balance of dressy and casual. Nothing embodies that better than a poncho or a cape with a wool hat and suede booties.

Bonfire

Anything channeling cozy vibes are a go when you’re spending a night around the bonfire or a weekend at a cabin. I can’t think of anything I’d want to wear more than chunky combat boots, a shacket layered over a light tee and leggings. It’s super casual but still cute.

Concert

Autumn music events are also huge in the fall. A utility jacket is a classic but you can also replace it with a shirt jacket for a more modern take. Complete the look with some leopard sneakers and layers of gold jewelry.

Pumpkin Patch or Orchard

Pumpkin patches and apple orchards are some of the things I look forward to most in the fall. Both aren’t just dog-friendly but make great backdrops for family photos. As for what to wear, I almost always go with a leather jacket, faux leather leggings and a luxe sweater. I’ll usually bring along tall boots for photos but will switch them out for my favorite Golden Goose sneakers after.

Date Night

Fall is the best season for date nights in my opinion because the temperature outside is perfect. I love that anything can be dressed up with over-the-knee boots. One of my favorite combinations is a sweater, jeans and OTK boots. It’s simple but so chic with a plaid scarf draped over the shoulders.
