Real fall weather has officially hit signaling the start of cozy season. The best thing about it is that it’s not cold enough to wrap yourself up in thick layers and heavy coats. However, you can begin to introduce some of fall’s coziest trends into your looks while still having fun with layering. I just got my first batch of cozy pieces in from Nordstrom, comprising of plush shearling jackets, snug ribbed knit sweaters, and other cozy accessories. There are just so many great pieces that recently dropped, it’s been hard not to browse Nordstrom’s New Arrivals section daily. I thought this would be the perfect time to share a quick round up of all the fresh, trending pieces you’ll want to mix into your daily outfit rotation going forward.

Faux Shearling Jackets

Shearling jackets were a big theme on the runway last winter and they’ve quickly become fall’s top jacket style in real life. I have zero complaints as they’re a surprisingly versatile piece that adds a cool factor to any look. Nordstrom has a variety of options from biker to shirt jackets and more that make the trend so easy to adopt. This one is under $150 and super easy to throw on over any casual fit.

Ribbed Knits

I live for easy knit tops that can be mixed, matched and layered in any way. This season, there’s none other than ribbed knits that I’m looking forward to wearing most. With the afternoons still mildly warm, you can get away with a ribbed tank top underneath a cozy jacket. However, be prepared to swap that for ribbed turtleneck tops and long sleeve tees in a few weeks!

Shearling Shoes

I’ve always been a sucker for shearling boots but they’re now available in a myriad of other footwear silhouettes, including mules, ballet flats and more. One of the reasons why I love shopping at Nordstrom so much is that they’re always an early adopter of the latest trends. Pompom Beanies

I’m so excited for the return of pompom beanies! They’re easily my favorite fall and winter accessory because they offer such a cute way to stay warm. I just love how the pompom adds such a playful touch to outfits that come off too casual or edgy. And on days when my hair seems unmanageable, pompom beanies are a quick, no-fail solution.

Shearling Accessories

There’s definitely a shearling theme going on here. Next on your list should be a shearling handbag or a pair of tech-friendly gloves. Either one of these pieces will add another layer of warmth to your looks while giving it that cozy yet luxurious feel. Pair yours with relaxed denim or leggings and a plush sweater for a chic everyday look.
