The last two months of the year is no doubt the busiest time for me. Between deadlines for work, family gatherings and holiday hosting, I’m usually scrambling to get everything done at the last minute. Fortunately, this year is feeling less stressful since I signed up for the Walmart+ Membership earlier in the summer. It’s proving to be extra useful these days when my daily to-do list feels miles long. If you need a refresher, the Walmart+ Membership is a service that provides subscribers with huge time and cost-saving benefits. Think unlimited free delivery, early access to sale events like Black Friday (excludes trial members), mobile scan & go and more. The best part of the membership is how affordable it is for all the perks that you get. It’s just $98 a year or $12.95 a month and includes a free 15-day trial. Here’s how Walmart+ has made my life easier this holiday season:

Unlimited Free Delivery

One of the things that I look forward to most over the holidays is spending time with family, friends from out of town and hosting a fun party. In previous years, I’d be frantically scanning the aisles of a store to find what I need for the perfect dinner or snack. However, thanks to Walmart+, I’m able to order all my drinks and groceries online and get free same-day delivery from my local store (order minimum of $35 required). This means more time to relax and enjoy the holidays instead of shopping in stores. 

I’ve also been using the unlimited free delivery perk to order holiday gifts I stumble on and feel will sell out quickly. It’s been especially useful for last minute Secret Santa gift exchanges or when a friend pops in from out of town and leaves the next day. No matter what you’re shopping for from fresh groceries to gifts, Walmart+ lets you order again and again, with no extra fees. It’s been a huge life saver and more people can benefit from it (even if that means purchasing a subscription for the career women or busy family this Christmas). 

Early Access to Black Friday Deals

Walmart kicked off their Black Friday Sale Event earlier this week, and if you’re familiar with their sales at all, then you probably know that inventory moves fast. It’s never a good feeling when you plan to something only fo find out that it’s out of stock.

Luckily, Walmart+ members got first dibs on all the deals since they were able to access it four hours before everyone else. I took advantage and purchased several home gifts from robotic vacuum cleaners to small appliances. If you want to access future events like this before everyone else, then it’s definitely worthwhile to sign up for a membership here. 

Mobile Scan & Go

I’m not the most patient person and try to avoid huge shopping crowds and long lines as much as I can. However, there are times when I do need to pop into a Walmart – usually when I’m already driving to a party and need to pick something up along the way. In those instances, I love that I can quickly scan items from the convenience of my phone, pay and be on my way without ever going to a register. It seriously takes the stress out of holiday shopping!
