I’ve featured this fragrance on so many of my gift guides this season, so I’m definitely taking advantage of the Sephora discount and purchasing it for myself. The smoky, vanilla blend smells so warm and comforting – just perfect for the holiday season. I consider it a unisex fragrance so you can purchase it as a gift for the guys too.
If you’re looking for something more feminine, be sure to scope out Kilian Paris Don’t Be Shy. The unique blend of orange blossom, neroli and marshmallow create a sexy, sweet scent that makes an unforgettable impact.
There are no words to describe Tom Ford fragrances. But if I had to pare this one back to a few words, it would be powerful, inviting and sexy. In just one whiff, you get a blend of spices and vanilla with a hint of sweet tobacco that’s perfectly balanced for winter. This one just doesn’t smell like a dream, but it looks like a masterpiece on top of a vanity or dresser.
If you’re familiar with Jo Malone fragrances at all, then you’d know that they never fail to impress. The Wood Sage & Sea Salt is one of my winter favorites when I want something clean and vibrant. It’s more of a neutral scent – woodsy with a hint of citrus. Overall, it’s just very refreshing and pleasant to wear all day.
There are also plenty of lovely floral scents for this time of the year – and Gucci’s Flora Gorgeous Gardenia is no doubt one of them. It’s not overly sweet and contains just the right balance of fruity florals and sugar. I’d reach for this one when I’m off on a date night as it’s quite addictive.
Another Tom Ford perfume makes my list and it’s one of their latest launches, the Ebene Fume. I’d recommend this one for those who prefer their scents to be on the spicier side. It seductive with an uplifting calm thanks to the Palo Santo and African Ebony wood accords. Finished off with a hint of rose, it’s a great fragrance for guys and girls alike.
