January Instagram Recap

It’s already that time of the month to recap my favorite outfits! I don’t know about you guys but January is always the least inspiring month for me to get dressed. Minnesota is ridiculously cold and it looks so drab outside. I’ve made an effort to travel at the start of each year, and that’s really motivated me to put more effort into my outfits. That said, my week-long trip in Jackson Hole was obviously the biggest highlight, so you’ll see a repeat of some of those looks today. They’ll come in handy if you’re in need of cozy, bundled ensembles to get you through February. Scroll ahead for everything you need to recreate them!
Max Mara Teddy Bear Coat (also here, better for budget here and here) | NBD Cut-Out Sweater (also love this one and this one) | Topshop Jeans | Louis Vuitton Neverfull Tote GM | Tom Ford Sunglasses (exact style sold out, similar here and here) | Similar Combat Boots | NY Yankees Cap
1. Cold Shoulder
When you’re not outdoors for long periods of time, the simplest outfit will get the job done. There’s nothing I love more than a cool sweater, jeans and combat boots. Topped off with your coziest coat, you’ll be ready to go in a heartbeat.
Tularosa Sweater (similar here) | Similar Camel Leather Skirt | Fendi Sunshine Shopper | Bottega Veneta Sunglasses | Similar White Pumps (better for budget here)
2. Neutral Tones
Workwear has to be the trickiest to get right when it’s freezing. However, a chunky knit sweater, matching pencil skirt and pumps always come to the rescue. You can always add tights if necessary.
Abercrombie Coat | Abercrombie White Sweater | Abercrombie Faux Leather Skirt | Paris Texas Boots (better for budget here) | Louis Vuitton Coussin PM Bag | Saint Laurent Sunglasses
3. Winter Whites
One of my favorite winter colors has to be white. It’s so refreshing and goes well with the blanket of snow outside. The trick to mastering a white outfit is playing with textures. Leather and soft knits are fail-proof.

4. Winter Escape
I’ve shared this look a few times on the blog already, and it’s seriously one of my favorite combinations of the year so far. The white and camel tones are just chef’s kiss.
Moncler Cape | Commando Turtleneck Bodysuit | Commando Patent Leather Leggings | Moon Boots | Chanel 19 Shearling Bag (better for budget here) | Saint Laurent Sunglasses | Moncler Beanie
5. Cozy Layers
I’m all about a chic monochromatic color palette. This black and white outfit mixes texture, proportions and basics for the ultimate winter uniform.

7. Cozy Staples
Right before my trip, I scored this entire look from Saks OFF 5TH at a steal. That place is a true treasure trove for designer pieces at a discount. You can find so many cozy outfits in one quick browse.
WHBM Turtleneck Top | WHBM Faux Fur Vest | WHBM Faux Leather Leggings | WHBM Faux Fur Cuffs | WHBM Suede Boots | WHBM Fringe Handbag
8. Apres-Ski Chic
I consider this the perfect apres-ski look for dinner or drinks. However, I can also see myself wearing it in the city. All the pieces are so versatile and can be restyled into countless looks.
Abercrombie Camel Blazer Coat | Revolve Black Bodysuit | Commando Vinyl Leggings (wearing a S) | Revolve Tan Suede Booties (similar here and here) | Louis Vuitton Palm Springs Mini Backpack | Tom Ford Sunglasses (exact style sold out, similar here and here)
9. Living in Neutrals
If I’m not wearing white and camel, I’m probably wearing black and camel. That color combo is endlessly chic and will never go out of style.
Silk Maison Cashmere Sweater | Silk Maison Slip Dress | Lack of Color Wool Hat | Similar White Pumps (better for budget here) | Bottega Veneta The Pouch Bag
10. Saturday Night
Silk Maison is a brand I just discovered and I’ve been obsessed. It gives every modern woman access to real silk, wool, and cashmere pieces at prices within reach. This is one of my favorite looks from the brand!
