Spring will be here before you know it, but that doesn’t mean you have to forgo all your comfortable loungewear pieces. In fact, updating your collection with just a few new items is key to keeping those cozy looks strong. I always opt for garments that I know look just as good for a morning workout as they do for a Zoom call or a coffee run. They tend to make me feel like I’m getting dressed up for the day but are comfortable enough to wear when I’m at my desk or sprawled across the couch for hours at a time. Since the start of the pandemic two years ago, I’ve grown to love Champion. They have amazing mix-and-match sets at really affordable prices – and best of all, they get better with wear. Below, I’m sharing some of the Champion pieces that deserve a spot in your wardrobe.
This gray sweatshirt is so good with the relaxed fit and on-trend dropped shoulder that falls right in line with the 90’s fashion movement. The lofty silhouette looks so sporty chic with leggings or matching sweatpants.
I’ve been loving the look of relaxed sweatpants over slim cut joggers. This one offers that slouchy look you’ve probably seen all over Instagram – and the fit is perfection. I also like how the cinched hem adds a retro edge that pairs so well with tube socks.
Champion makes some of the best cropped hoodies on the market, and this one is no exception. It’s something I’d pair with super high-waisted leggings and a baseball cap for an off-duty look.
When the temperatures rise, you’ll want to replace your sweatpants for sweatshorts – and that’s where this piece comes into play. It features a worn-in look with a raw hem that nails the cool athleisure vibe.
This sweater is for you if you’re looking for a modern take on the classic sweatshirt. The polo neckline is just what you need for smart casual wear. It also comes in a trendy green color for those who want to brighten things up.
When I want to break up the usual black, gray and white athleisure outfits, I’ll go for a trendy beige set. This hoodie isn’t just the ideal color but I love how it fits loosely through the body and waist, making it great to layer over any bottom.
If you don’t love the 90’s sweatpants look, these might be a better fit for you. They have a more contemporary vibe to them given the ribbed cuff and slimmer (but still roomy) cut.
For under $25, you can snag this trendy dad hat, which also comes in black and gray. The minimal, neutral look is great for both guys and girls.
When you’re on the go, you’ll need a handy bag like this one. It offers plenty of storage and comes with a release clip that allows you to wear it around your waist, over the shoulder or across the chest.
xo, Maria
