We’re entering one of the most exciting fall seasons ever. I’ve never seen so many different trends circulate the fashion industry from moody, edgy pieces to glamorous, embellished looks. With so many aesthetics to be excited for, one might wonder what they should actually be buying. So in today’s post, I wanted to break down all my favorites. If you’ve been thinking about what to add to your fall wardrobe, I’ve got you covered. Whether you’re wanting to make a fashion investment or want to save on the best fall 2022 trends, you’ll find it below.
Where I Splurge…
When I think of trends worth splurging on, I immediately think of pieces that have strong staying power in my wardrobe no matter how much time passes. This fall season happens to bring on tons of classic pieces that I don’t even consider trends. For instance, tailored fashion, which we often see in corporate offices – but it’s done in modern, menswear-inspired manner. I’m also obsessed with the oversized bag trend and heavy biker vibes. Boots go without mentioning. You especially can’t go wrong with splurging on taller shafts that will take you into winter and many more years to come.

Equipment Shirt (wearing an XS, on sale now!) | Similar Leather Jacket | Anine Bing Lace Bralette | Blank Denim Faux Leather Pants (under $100 – run TTS) | Chanel Flap Bag | Celine Edge Sunglasses (similar here, better for budget here)
Mango Camel Coatigan | Wolford Camel Turtleneck Bodysuit | Mother Gray Jeans | Nine West Over-The-Knee Boots | Nine West Snakeskin Handbag (exact style sold out, similar here) | Bottega Veneta Sunglasses
Where I Save…
I tend to save hyper trendy but still tasteful trends for my more affordable retailers, such as Mango, H&M and Topshop. If you’re not in a place to splurge, you can also find the splurge-worthy trends I love at more affordable prices. Think blazers and boots by Marc Fisher or Sam Edelman. Otherwise, when it comes to faux leather, anything channeling western or academia vibes, and high-shine styles, I’d recommend going the high-street fashion route.
