I love adding new holiday decorations to my home every year but know that it can be overly expensive to splurge on statement pieces every time December rolls around. So, one of the ways I like to stay on a reasonable budget is to focus on certain corners of the home and more affordable but still festive finds. Walmart is actually one of my best kept secrets to decorating on a time crunch for Christmas! I tend to be super last-minute, but have found over the years that Walmart has all the festive touches I need to get my home holiday ready. The prices can’t be beat and you can find really beautiful pieces that look way more expensive. Ahead, I’m sharing my latest Walmart finds that you can nab in time for your next gathering.

Christmas Tree Decor

The holidays are never complete without a Christmas tree. Walmart has a variety of faux tree styles in different sizes and styles for under $100, like this flocked one I got. You can couple that with a mix of ornaments that start at just $0.98. However, I opted to change things up this year and went with a tinsel-covered Christmas tree. I love how it’s effortless and thoughtless to decorate but delivers a high-impact effect. You can also save by skipping on a tree collar or skirt and covering up the bottom with a faux fur throw.

Bar Cart & Accessories

Bar carts are another low effort but visually impactful way to spruce things up over Christmas. Just add some candles, garlands, pinecones, and glassware and you’re all set. You can pull together this exact bar cart situation for under $200. It’s just one of the reasons why Walmart surprises me every time.

Festive Serveware

If you’re not into bar carts, Christmas-inspired serveware is a great alternative to getting into the holiday spirit. The simplest of pieces, such as gold flatware, a fun beverage dispenser or festive napkins will do the trick.

Home Decor

Of course you can also just keep things simple with some small touches whether that’s a throw pillow on the couch, decorative objects on your dining table or a garland on the mantel. Walmart has a great mix of statement items and subtle pieces, making it easy to grab everything you need in one place.
