Spring Athleisure Looks I’m Wearing On Repeat

You girls know that I’m all about versatility when getting dressed, which is why I love to switch things up between more feminine looks and my trusty athleisure pieces. There’s nothing like feeling comfortable and stylish, especially on those busy days when you’re constantly on the go. And contrary to what some may think, you don’t have to sacrifice style for comfort. With so many chic and trendy athleisure options available, there’s never been a better time to embrace this trend. To help inspire your next outfit, I’ve put together five sporty yet stylish looks that are perfect for spring.
Open Edit Blazer (wearing an XS) | Amazon Knit Lounge Set (wearing a S) | New Balance Sneakers (runs TTS) | NY Yankees Cap | Fendi Sunshine Tote
1. Smart Blazer
Although a tailored blazer and a pair of workout leggings may seem like they’re from opposite ends of the spectrum, they can work together perfectly. This unconventional pairing looks especially chic if you choose to wear head-to-toe neutrals. The blazer can add a sophisticated touch to your workout gear and take your look to the next level.
House of CB Knit Jacket (wearing an XS) | House of CB Knit Cami (wearing an XS) | House of CB Knit Leggings (wearing an XS) | Nike Gray Blazer Sneakers (runs TTS) | Saint Laurent College Bag | NY Yankees Cap
2. Monochrome
As I just alluded to, another way to nail the athleisure aesthetic is by sticking to a single color palette. After all, a monochromatic outfit never fails to look polished. I find that gray, white, beige, and black are the easiest to pull off. Additionally, never underestimate the power of a coordinating set. From there, it’s just all about choosing the right accessories to accentuate your color of choice.
Nike Camel Hoodie (wearing an XS) | Nike Camel Sweatpants (wearing an XS) | Saint Laurent ICare Maxi Tote | Nike Dunk High Sneakers (in Flax, also love these) | NY Yankees Cap
3. Sweatsuit
During the early days of spring where it isn’t quite warm nor cold, a sweatsuit always comes in handy. Shopping in sets also ensures seamless coordination which means your cozy athleisure look is elevated from the get-go. But if you’re still concerned your outfit might come off sloppy, simply add a chic handbag and a pair of high-top sneakers to transform the look.
Zara Tweed Blazer (exact style sold out, similar here and here) | Amazon Workout Set | Saint Laurent Solferino Bag | Similar Golden Goose Sneakers | Similar Basebell Cap | Bottega Veneta Sunglasses (better for budget here)
4. Tweed
You can also take your athleisure gear from the gym to brunch with sophisticated layers. Tweed is a timeless texture and I absolutely love to see that it’s getting more recognition this season. While it does tend to skew preppy, it actually makes for a fun pairing with more relaxed styles. This sports bra and biker short set is instantly chicer with a draped tweed jacket on top.
Mango Camel Coatigan | Anine Bing Hoodie (also love this one) | Amazon Biker Short Set | New Balance Sneakers (exact color sold out, similar here and here) | Similar Basebell Cap | Chloe Woody Tote
5. Coatigan
Spring dressing is all about maximizing the use of layers. During this time period, I love draping a coatigan on top of my outfits. This longer layering device is ideal for slipping on and off throughout the day. Not to mention, it’s an incredibly stylish piece that does wonders in making any workout fit look and feel luxe.
