Snow season is here, and with it comes ski trips, cozy layers, and the hunt for the perfect outerwear to keep you warm and stylish. If you’re like me, you know that having the right jacket is a game-changer, whether you’re hitting the slopes or just braving the chilly streets. For years, my go-to has been SAM. puffer jackets. They’re luxurious, functional, and always on-trend. And over time, I’ve racked up quite the collection of SAM. jackets for good reason. These pieces sell out fast every season, thanks to their unbeatable mix of style and practicality. Whether you’re looking for something sleek and city-ready or a jacket that can handle the mountain air, SAM. has something for everyone. Since so many of my favorite styles are currently on sale, I thought it’d be the perfect time to share an honest review of my collection. I’ll be breaking down what makes these jackets worth the investment and giving you the lowdown on the styles I love most.
The SAM. Sadie is a shearling-trimmed coat that exhibits luxury and practicality. Made from densely woven nylon yarn and filled with down, it’s ultra-soft, wind-resistant, and water-repellent – perfect for winter. Highlights include a shearling stand collar, cuffs, and trim, plus leather patch pockets and thumbhole wrist cuffs. These features make it easy to trap heat and keep you warm. It’s sold out almost everywhere, but I found it in XS directly on SAM.’s site for under $500 (HERE). I’m also linking the closest updated style below!
I adore the bomber-style Veronica jacket for its snug fit and cozy shearling trim – so effortlessly chic and functional. This one is also sold out everywhere, but I tracked one down on Poshmark!
For those looking for an updated style, this one looks very similar and it’s on sale (save $50 off every $250 at Saks!).
This red SAM. Freestyle Bomber is a statement-making piece and perfect for the slopes. I snagged mine years ago when it featured a fur hood – though the new version no longer has this option. It’s still a showstopper and is currently available in a few sizes and colors at Saks at a great price. The red one always sells out fast, so if that’s on your list, be sure to grab it!
The black SAM. Freestyle Bomber is my everyday go-to when I need guaranteed warmth and mobility. It’s practical, sleek, and timeless, which is ideal for running errands or hitting the slopes.
I loved the Freestyle Bomber so much that I bought it in white too! This version also featured a faux fur hood, but sadly it’s no longer available. It remains one of my favorite winter staples.
The dual-color Denver is no longer in stock at major retailers, but I found one last piece in XS directly on SAM.’s site for under $200 (HERE). It’s a total steal! Saks has it in solid colors, and I’m eyeing the dark brown version myself. It’s made from plush faux-shearling sherpa, which is so soft and feels like the real thing. The best part is that it’s lightweight, wind-resistant, and cozy. For added functionality, this jacket also includes leather buckles, zip pockets, and thumbhole wrist cuffs.
The Wylie Sherpa combines technical design with plush comfort. I bought the ivory color a few years back – and though it’s no longer available in this color, you can still nab it in black HERE. This one is also down-filled, wind-resistant, and water-repellent. I love how it features a sherpa vest illusion as the textural play keeps those winter fits interesting.
