I always think the best time to shop is after I’ve already tested everything at full price. If a piece has earned a permanent spot in my wardrobe before it goes on sale, that’s when I know it’s truly worth recommending. This year’s 4th of July sales are especially good, and so many of my most-worn pieces are finally marked down. Farm Rio’s summer collection is included (I genuinely can’t believe some of these tops are on sale), and if you’ve been eyeing the viral Paige jeans, now’s the time. Every wash and color I own is discounted, and they continue to be one of the most flattering jeans I’ve found regardless of your height or body type. Target also has some incredible summer finds on sale, so whether you’re looking for elevated basics, vacation pieces, or a few affordable wardrobe refreshes, there are plenty of gems to sift through.
