Fall is one of my favorite seasons to wear a dress. Maybe it’s because a dress pairs perfectly with my favorite fall staple – over-the-knee boots. I’m usually in distressed jeans, but I love how easy a dress can be. Sometimes it doesn’t feel “styled” enough to me since it really is so effortless. To create a complete look around a cute fall dress, it’s all about layering. I like to add a moto jacket (like I did here), long sweater (last seen here) or sleeveless trench (last seen here). I found this adorable dress at Nordstrom. They have so many cute fall dresses, I could wear one every day.

Here are three styles to add to your wardrobe this fall:

1. Mini: A mini dress is meant for over-the-knee boots in the fall. The colors of this one screams fall and the long sleeves are perfect for a crisp fall day.
2. Maxi: A maxi dress can easily be dressed up to wear to a fall wedding or you can pair it with booties and a jacket for a more casual look. The long sleeves and flowy fabric of this one are so pretty! I’m dying over this embroidered one too!
3. Tunic: A tunic dress is so versatile – you can wear it with booties or over-the-knee boots in the fall and wear it over jeans in the winter. This swing dress is so cute and I love this dark embroidered version too.
