How To Wear The Cold-Shoulder Trend This Fall.

The cold-shoulder trend has been around for a while now, and it doesn’t look like it’s leaving any time soon. The once summery style is officially becoming a fall staple – which I’m excited about because I love the silhouette. The key to making it work even as temperatures drop is focusing on the material, print, and color. Stay away from floral prints or pastel hues and go for neutrals – or a statement color like red for a little drama. It’s also the time of year to retire summery fabrics like chambray or eyelet in favor of cold-weather materials like silk, cashmere or heavier knits. I love the look of a chunky sweater with a hint of shoulder too – perfect for a casual yet sexy vibe. This cold-shoulder top packs a punch with a bold hue. I love the pleated silhouette – which normally I’d steer away from, but the cold-shoulder cutouts make it feel more modern. I paired it with denim for a date night last week, but it’d look great with trousers for a fashionable meeting too.
Are you excited to transition the cold shoulder into fall?
