It’s hard to believe June already came and went. We spent the month working on our backyard landscaping, dreaming up plans for our next home renovation and taking care of the dogs – who are as crazy as ever! Leo is growing up quick – he’s already 70lbs! Unfortunately, he’s had some health problems relating to his thick fur coat – which does not do well in the summer heat. He’s been quick to develop yeast infections in his paws – the heat causes excess sweating (dogs sweat through their paws) and his webbed feet trap the sweat which leads to infections – things you don’t even think about with Golden Retrievers. Nonetheless, he’s a happy go-lucky dog and as crazy as he drives us, we sure do love him and Luna of course.
