My Go-To Hair Products For Winter

fashion blogger mia mia mine wearing a gray intermix sweater and black mango denimIt’s no secret that hair care is a major part of my beauty routine. Most of you probably know that I spent a lot of time over the years coloring my hair and styling it with hot tools. And as a result, my hair is not in an ideal state. When you factor in Minnesota’s freezing winters, it’s definitely not a good combo. Every winter, I spend a lot of time and effort trying to get my hair health in better shape without skimping on a styling routine or touching up its color when needed. In the past year, I’ve experimented a ton with various products and have come across some haircare heroes that really helped with preventing breakage and treating damage. If you’re looking for some new treatments to try this season, here are the best hair products for winter that I use regularly.

I've been using this shampoo non-stop because it keeps my hair hydrated despite the freezing temperatures outside. I love how it keeps my hair so soft and manageable!

Olaplex

Hair Perfector No. 3

I talk about Olaplex all the time because it's a huge lifesaver when it comes to hair. It really repairs your hair from color damage and protects it from breakage. It’s one of the few products that makes an immediate difference.

Kérastase

Resistance Hair Mask

A deeply nourishing hair mask can make a big difference in the health and strength of your hair. This product has been a long-time favorite since it doesn't weigh my hair down - and I only need to leave it in for 10 minutes.

Kérastase

Heat Protectant

Since I blow dry my hair often, using a heat protectant spray is essential. I swear by this product - it's the best for color-treated hair.

Oribe

Thickening Spray

I don't have a ton of hair, so it can get super flat if I don't blow dry it. I use this product to add volume by spraying it onto damp sections from the roots to through the mid-section of my hair. It's a great volume booster.

Living Proof

Volumizing Hairspray

This is one of the few hairsprays I've come across that actually hold style without looking stiff and add a ton of volume at the same time.

This cult classic spray builds incredible volume while adding that nice gritty, texture for an effortless look. It smells amazing too!
