We’re already half-way through summer, which means it’s time to think about the pre-fall pieces you might want to add to your wardrobe. It’s such an iconic event in July, so I’m not surprised that the pieces you guys loved and shopped the most came from the curated sale. I’m obsessed with over the knee boots during the colder seasons. Stuart Weitzman makes the best styles, but they are pretty expensive. This one is another Nordstrom Anniversary Sale find and is marked down for under $500. They fit like a glove and feature a low block heel, which makes them so comfy for all day wear.

Oversized denim jackets are the perfect fall transitional piece. You can wear them now as a light layer but combine them with chunky sweaters and knit dresses when temperatures drop. The exact style I’m wearing above is sold out, but this one is the perfect alternative and it’s also by Madewell.

Cashmere is a fall staple, but can be pricey. This cashmere cardigan was a top seller in July – and it’s because the fit, length and fabric are everything you need for a chilly day. The sale is going on through August 5, so you can still grab this one at a discount.
