Another month of winter has gone and spring is going to be here before you know it. I can’t wait for the weather to warm up and have already started to build out my spring wardrobe. I haven’t done a whole lot of shopping, but when I do, I try to focus more on a smaller, curated selection of items that I can keep for years and less on trendy pieces. I’m glad to see that most of you are doing the same thing too. This month was all about transitional pieces and basics that can be reworked into various outfits now and later. Today, I wanted to round up the items you guys shopped most this month that will take you right into the new season.
Bottega Veneta’s The Pouch bag is one of my favorite investment pieces of 2019, and it’s still a major contender in my daily bag rotation. The minimalist design makes it so easy to dress up or down – and it’s really spacious inside too. I wrote a thorough review about the bag last fall, which you can check out here. I honestly don’t think this bag will be phasing out anytime soon, so for those of you who have asked, it’s definitely worth the investment and the hype.
Revolve House of Harlow Sweater (wearing an XS) | Commando Pantent Leather Leggings (wearing an S) | Revolve Raye Booties (run TTS) | Louis Vuitton Palm Springs Mini Backpack | Gucci Belt (read my ‘Gucci Belt Sizing Guide’ HERE)
I won’t be retiring my Gucci belt anytime soon, so I’m so glad to see that it remains a top seller month after month. Although the hype has certainly died down, I think a high-quality belt is an essential in any wardrobe and can be worn years down the road. You can read my post here for my full opinion on whether the Gucci belt is still worth buying.
There are so many things to love about these vinyl leggings. First, the whole design provides amazing control – it just sucks you in and makes you look super slim. Then, the high-shine aesthetic adds a cool texture to any outfit. I often wear mine with a hoodie and sneakers, but they’re also easy to dress up with booties.
Mango Camel Coat (wearing an XS) | Topshop Black Turtleneck Sweater | Blank Denim Faux Leather Pants (wearing a 24) | Christian Louboutin Leopard Heels (similar here, better for budget here) | Givenchy Antigona Bag (read my review HERE) | Saint Laurent Sunglasses (better for budget here)
Since winter lasts so long around Minnesota, I’m constantly adding more coats to my wardrobe. I purchased this one from Mango earlier this year and it already sold out once. Camel coats tend to sell out fast, so I recommend scooping it up now if you need an updated coat.
Revolve White Lace Top (wearing an XXS) | Amanda Uprichard White Pants (wearing an XS) | Bottega Veneta The Pouch (in ‘Mist’ color, better for budget here) | Christian Louboutin White Heels (better for budget here)
I love wearing white year-round, but spring is the perfect time to add more of it to the wardrobe. Now that March is just around the corner, I can’t wait to wear these wide leg pants more. I was happy to see that many of you were shopping for it too since they’re a great alternative to dresses.
Max Mara Teddy Bear Coat (wearing an S, better for budget here) | Mango White Turtleneck Sweater (wearing an XS) | Topshop White Denim (wearing a 25) | 47′ Brand NY Yankees Cap | Louis Vuitton Multi Pochette Accessories | Tom Ford Sunglasses (better for budget here) | Alexander Wang Suede Booties (similar here and here)
A baseball cap is such an easy way to inject a street style chic vibe into your outfit. Fashion aside, it’s actually quite functional too. I typically throw on a cap when I’m on the go or haven’t had time to fix my hair. It always does the trick!
Max Mara Teddy Bear Coat (wearing an S, better for budget here and here) | Celine Sunglasses (better for budget here) | H&M Hoodie | Topshop Black Denim | Nike Sneakers | Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM | Louis Vuitton Horion Suitcase | Louis Vuitton Palm Springs Mini Backpack
Hoodies are the coziest, comfiest thing to wear when you’re traveling. I featured the outfit above while I was traveling to Aspen back in January and saw that many of you ended up buying the hoodie. I have to admit, it’s such a good buy at under $20 – and is so easy to layer under a statement coat.
Moncler Beanie (better for budget here) | Topshop Biker Jacket (similar here) | Topshop Black Denim (wearing a 25 – size up) | Revolve LPA Sweater (similar here) | Givenchy Antigona Bag | Gianvito Rossi Heels (run TTS, better for budget here) | Saint Laurent Sunglasses
It’s no secret that I live in distressed denim, and black denim is one of my go-to’s since it’s often more versatile than blue jeans. This Topshop pair is so comfortable and has the perfect amount of stretch to it. The length is also great for us petite girls.
Nike Beanie | Anine Bing Sweatshirt (wearing an S) | Nike Red Sneakers (run TTS) | Commando Faux Leather Pants (wearing an S) | Topshop Biker Jacket (similar here) | Celine Sunglasses (better for budget here) | Givenchy Antigona Bag
I love pairing these sneakers with an all-black outfit to make it pop. I purchased mine from Nordstrom last December but they sold out so fast. I recently found them in stock on Amazon – however, it probably won’t last long since they’re such a great everyday sneaker.
