May Instagram Recap

As businesses slowly opened back up this past month, I realize I became more motivated to get dressed, which is definitely evident when I look back at my Instagram outfits from May. I also treated myself to new summer styles with all the amazing sales that happened – and ended up with so many things I couldn’t wait to wear. I thought I’d share a full recap of my favorite looks in case you missed them on Instagram. The best thing about these outfits is that you can mix and match them for different settings – from business meetings to date nights – or even running errands on the weekends.
Lioness Black Blazer (wearing an XS) | Equipment Silk Blouse (wearing an XS) | Similar Levi’s Denim Shorts | Gucci Double G Belt (wearing a size 70, read my Gucci belt buying guide here) | Gucci White Marmont Bag | Similar Sunglasses (budget version here) | Christian Louboutin White Heels (similar here, better for budget here)
1. Dressy Summer
My summer wardrobe is a mixture of casual and tailored pieces. I love living in comfort clothes like denim, but I also gravitate towards more professional silhouettes like blazers and button-down tops. In the summer, you can get away with mixing the two styles. This outfit is one of my go-to’s, so I’m glad that you guys loved it too.
Abercrombie White Denim (wearing a 24S) | Madewell Camel Hoodie (wearing an XS) | Adidas Camel Sneakers (also here, size down) | NY Yankees Cap | Louis Vuitton Multi Pochette Accessories | iPhone Marble Case
2. Camel Tones
Tonal camel outfits is one thing I can never get enough of. This outfit has been a best seller since the quarantine started – and it’s so easy to see why. It’s not only comfortable and casual but feels more elevated than your typical athleisure look. This camel hoodie kept selling out, but it’s back in stock in limited sizes.

3. Denim Jumpsuit
One of the best things about summer is being able to find cute and trendy statement pieces for under $50 – like the denim jumpsuit above, which has unfortunately sold out. I’m also loving this similar style. It makes for a one-and-done look that requires zero effort. Plus, you can accessorize a jumpsuit in so many ways to achieve a dressy or casual ensemble.
Superdown Faux Leather Skirt (wearing an XXS) | Vince Tee (on sale now, wearing an XS) | Tamara Mellon Heels | Prada Cahier Bag | Similar Aviator Sunglasses | Dior Necklace (sold out, similar here)
4. Black & White
As much as I love wearing black and white, I have to admit that it isn’t the easiest color combination to pull off in a chic way. However, this statement-making leather skirt makes it a no-brainer. It’s one of my favorite pieces to wear year-round.
Champion Cropped Sweatshirt (wearing an XS, similar here) | Champion Sweatshorts (wearing an XS, similar here) | Adidas Sneakers (also here, size down) | Louis Vuitton Mutli Pochette Accessories | NY Yankees Cap | Quay Sunglasses
5. Loungewear
As temperatures begin to rise, you’ll probably want to swap out your sweatpants for sweat shorts. They feature the same comfy material and elastic waistband as sweatpants. These Champion shorts have been a favorite of mine – and are definitely one best loungewear pieces you can buy for summer.
Free People Bodysuit (wearing an XS) | Similar Denim Shorts | Cult Gaia Acrylic Bag (on sale now!) | Manolo Blahnik Heels (better for budget here) | Rag & Bone White Panama Hat (on sale now! better for budget here)
6. Summer Outfit
I pretty much live in basics all summer long and will rely on accessories to take my outfit up a notch. You can never go wrong with a straw hat, strappy heels, and a clutch.
Revolve Snakeskin Sportsbra (wearing an S) | Revolve Snakeskin Leggings (wearing XS) | Free People Denim Jacket (wearing an XS, also here) | Golden Goose Sneakers (better for budget here) | Louis Vuitton Multi Pochette Accessories | Quay Sunglasses
7. Snakeskin
I’ve been wearing so much loungewear and athleisure outfit combos lately that I decided it was time to go for a bold, playful set. This snakeskin sports bra and these leggings are basically foolproof. I love that the neutral color palette makes it easy to pair with solid basics.
Shopbop Blazer (under $100, wearing an XS) | Free People Black Tank (wearing an XS) | Levi’s Denim Shorts (wearing a 24, similar here and here) | Alexandre Birman White Heels (better for budget here) | Louis Vuitton Toiletry Pouch 26 | Dior Necklace (similar here)
8. Favorite White Blazer
A white blazer is a summer wardrobe staple for me since it can instantly take you from the office to the weekend. I’m hardly ever without my Balmain blazer, so I wanted to share this budget-friendly dupe with you guys. The strong shoulders, nipped-in waist, and gold-tone buttons come pretty close to the real deal and is 100% worth the affordable price tag.
Revolve Eyelet Top (wearing an XS) | Levi’s Denim (wearing a 23, more sizes here)
9. Eyelet Top
There’s nothing I look forward to wearing more than airy eyelet pieces in the summertime. This eyelet top is one of my favorite purchases of the season with the floaty balloon sleeves and cropped waist. It’s so feminine and romantic – just perfect for the warm days ahead. Best of all, it’s under $100!
Scoop Crochet Tank (sold out, similar here) | Scoop Lace-Up Sandals (run TT)
10. Casual Summer Style
Strappy sandals are a must this season – and this pair is such a steal at under $25. I love the wrap-around laces and the open design, which help elongate the legs.
