With the end of June quickly approaching, it’s time to recap my most popular posts of the year. I love diving into the content you guys read most as it helps guide me on what to share next. So far, there seems to be a huge favoring of investment pieces, which I’m so happy about. For years now, I’ve focused less on trends and more on quality staples and accessories that you’ll be able to build upon. This has led me to write countless product reviews and share as much shopping advice as possible. I can’t wait to continue sharing more of this type of content – and dropping more designer sale events so you can curate the best possible wardrobe your budget allows for. That all being said, below are my top trending blog posts for 2020 so far!
The Gucci belt continues to be a top selling item on my blog time after time, so it’s no surprise that my guide to buying a Gucci belt remains a trending post. It never fails to be the item I get asked most about, so if you’ve ever wondered what color to buy, how to measure your waist, or anything else, be sure to check it out. I also answer more questions about it in this post too.
When I’m not getting questions about the details of the Gucci belt, I’m often asked whether or not it’s still worth buying. Considering how much I wear mine today, the answer is a resounding yes! This post covers all the reasons why you shouldn’t hesitate to invest if its been on your wish list.
Another designer piece that was trending all over the Internet last year was Bottega Veneta’s The Pouch bag. At one point, it was nearly impossible to get a hold of and I even sold multiples of it in my Instagram shop. I put together a thorough review of the bag here and love that many of you found it useful.
It’s never too early to start thinking about boots for the cooler seasons, especially when you can score a designer pair on sale. When it comes to over-the-knee boots, the only brand I shop is Stuart Weitzman. I own several variations of their boots from the Highland’s to the Tieland’s and the Darla boots. If you’ve ever wondered if they were worth the price, you can read all about it in this post.
I think it’s more important than ever to be mindful of the ingredients you put onto your skin, so it was great to see that many of you were interested in my clean beauty routine. There are so many effective products that refrain from toxic ingredients, which include parabens, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfate, silicones, and more. I put together a list of the ones I swear by here.
Another designer product review that’s been trending is my Gucci Ace sneakers review. I love the clean white sneaker look since they’re so versatile – but what sold me on these were Gucci’s signature colors and the embellishments. They’re not just your basic sneaker. Surprisingly, they’re even comfier than my Golden Goose sneakers and feel incredibly well-made too!
The handbag I’ve had forever now and still carry repeatedly is the Givenchy Antigona (medium size). After I posted an honest review of it here, it’s remained one of my most-read posts to date. In the review, I cover the details of its size, how it holds up over time, and who it isn’t right for. It’s becoming increasingly harder to get a hold of, so if you’ve been looking for a versatile, durable designer bag, scoop this one up before it’s too late.
As much as I love reviewing and sharing my designer purchases, many of you continue to ask me to showcase more affordable pieces too. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to share some of my favorite designer-inspired pieces on Amazon. I’m glad that many of you found this post useful and that you enjoyed my picks!
Besides handbags, shoes are where I spend a good portion of my shopping budget as I’m sure you guys know. I’ve had most of my designer shoes for years now, and I’m constantly impressed with how well they hold up. Besides the quality, they’re a work of art and have the power to make any outfit look more expensive. I get a lot of questions about my favorite designer heels, so I shared all the details in this post. While it’s an older post, the information is still relevant and I’m glad you all are still reading it!
I’ve been working on several home renovation projects for the past two years. The quarantine freed up quite a bit of my time, so I revamped and put together a Living Room Makeover post, which has been one of my most popular posts of 2020. Interior design is a passion of mine and I can’t wait to share more renovation projects in the future!
