Labor Day is just two weeks away, which means it’s time to get your outfits in order for the long weekend. With the pandemic still in place, I’m sure the holiday weekend will likely be slower one for most of us this year. So, I wanted to share some low-key, but stylish outfits that are worth considering now. I pulled together looks that I felt would make a fashion-forward statement, but could also be put together with minimal effort. Since Labor Day tends to be really chill, it’s also important to stick to pieces that will keep you comfortable regardless of how you’re celebrating. Keep scrolling for seven uncomplicated outfits you can wear for Labor Day and beyond.
Silk Cami, White Jeans & Woven Tote
It’s always a great time to wear a silk cami, especially if you don’t know what the dress code will be for where you’re headed. This upcoming Labor Day weekend, you can style it with some white jeans for an easy chic look. I just got this Lilysilk camisole, and have been obsessed with it. It’s such a high-quality piece and reasonably priced (under $100) for being 100% silk.

White Dress, Straw Hat & Espadrilles
There’s the old saying of “no white after Labor Day”, but every fashion girl I know breaks this rule. It’s a great color to wear year-round and you guys know I’m notorious for wearing head-to-toe white all the time. This outfit is great for Labor Day because it’s so fun and flirty. It’s also super versatile if you plan to spend the weekend at the beach.

Nude Bodysuit, Denim Cutoffs, & Blazer
If you plan to get together with a group of friends, you can keep your look casual with a nude bodysuit and some denim cutoffs. Heels and a blazer are optional if you’ll be heading out for drinks.
Wayf Lace Top (wearing an XXS) | Levi’s Denim Shorts (wearing a 24) | Castañer Wedges (similar here) | Saint Laurent Sunset Bag (similar here) | Tom Ford Aviator Sunglasses (similar here, better for budget here)
Lace Top, Denim Shorts & Espadrilles
To spruce up your denim shorts and make it feel more elevated, wear a lace blouse and wedge espadrilles instead. It’s a great way to spice things up without feeling like you’re overdressed. You’ll be all set for any backyard BBQ.
Blank NYC Faux Leather Moto Jacket (wearing an XS) | Leith Knit Dress (wearing an XXS – almost sold out, similar here) | Golden Goose Leopard Sneakers (better for budget here) | Saint Laurent Sunset Bag | Gorjana Necklace
Knit Dress & Sneakers
A dress and heels is a classic combo that will never get old, but for an easy holiday like Labor Day, I love pairing sneakers with dresses for a casual look. If you plan to stay out late, bring along a moto jacket and drape it over your shoulders like a cape. It looks so effortless and won’t make you super hot.
Revolve Crop Sweatshirt (wearing an XS) | Levi’s White Denim (wearing a 24) | Hermès Oran Sandals (better for budget here and here) | Similar NY Yankees Camel Cap | Louis Vuitton Palm Springs Mini Backpack
Cropped Sweatshirt, White Jeans & Baseball Cap
The holidays are a great time to be fun and experimental with your outfits, but you shouldn’t have to force yourself to wear something that makes you uncomfortable. If you’re looking to keep things simple, you really can’t go wrong with a pair of white jeans, a cropped sweatshirt and a baseball cap. This is such a chic but comfy outfit to pull off if you plan on grabbing takeout and celebrating indoors.
White Button-Down Top & Denim Shorts
It’s probably obvious by now that denim shorts are one of my Labor Day weekend essentials. Another styling option is to pair it with a silk button-down blouse. There are so many ways to keep this outfit from feeling basic whether you opt for bold statement earrings or a pair of neon heels. There’s nothing wrong with sticking to neutral accessories too.
