It’s one of the few wardrobe staples you can never have too many of since you can dress it up or down. I also love that jeans come in so many silhouettes from skinnies to cropped styles and high-waisted cuts, so there’s always a new way to wear them. Although I wear denim year-round, they’re especially essential in the fall and winter when you can’t get away with dresses and shorts as easily. I wanted to share my top picks from my favorite under $100 denim brands since I know fall fashion can get expensive when you factor in coats and boots. While I do love premium denim, I have to admit that you can typically find more affordable styles that are equally as good in terms of quality and fit.

Levi’s

Levi’s is definitely a go-to under $100 denim brand that everyone needs to try. Their collection encompasses everything from classic skinnies to straight leg jeans so you really can’t go wrong. I love that most Levi’s jeans have a true denim feel to them – and they often refrain from anything too trendy so you can keep them for years to come. This pair is my number one pick. I’ve worn them so many times throughout the years that I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth.

Topshop

When it comes to affordable, slightly distressed denim, I know that I can always rely on Topshop. Their jeans do tend to run small so I would recommend sizing up. The Jamie fit is my favorite and I own it in both black and white washes. I highly recommend keeping an eye out for Topshop jeans because you can often score them for under $50 when they go on sale! They’re not only comfortable but flattering and long lasting too.

Abercrombie

I used to wear Abercrombie jeans all the time back in the day, but the brand fell off my radar at some point. Lately, I find myself shopping there more and more – and I just can’t seem to get enough of them. The denim fit is so on point, especially because they offer regular, long, and short inseams. This makes it so easy for me to find jeans that fit without having to get them tailored.

Madewell

Madewell is one of my favorite under $100 denim brands that is borderline premium. Most of their jeans are actually in the $120 price range with a few great options just under $100. I love that their jeans are form-fitting without being too tight – and they don’t get baggy with wear as the day goes on. You can actually take an extra 30% off their sale section right now, which is brimming with jeans. It’s a great time to shop.

Express

This season, I find myself wearing more Express jeans too. I’m a fan of the high-rise cuts and skinny jeans, which are formfitting, comfortable and flattering. Most of their jeans are pretty clean and not overly distressed so they’re a great option to take into the workplace and even wear on the weekends.

Asos

If I’m wanting to try out a trendier denim style, I always look to Asos first. Their denim prices are unbeatable and I find that they fit particularly well if you’re on the petite side. One style that I’ve relied on for years is the Ridley fit, which is a high-rise skinny jean that feels almost like a legging. If you don’t like the rigid feel of Levi’s, then you’ll definitely love Asos jeans.
