October has been such an exciting month with the weather changing so fast here in Minnesota. I’m always so excited for all the fall and winter trends, so I’m glad that I’m finally able to break out my favorites. By now, you guys probably know that coats and jackets are my weakness. It stays cold throughout most of the year here, and I love how a great coat can really elevate an outfit. I’ve added so many new styles to my fall wardrobe and can’t wait to share more of them with you guys. We also just had our first snow fall, which is getting me into the holiday mood. But, before we dive into that, I wanted to round up my favorite outfits from October!

1. Favorite Color Combo
Camel has got to be my favorite color for fall. I just can’t get over how chic and put together it looks, especially when styled with similar tones. This outfit is one of my go-to uniforms, which I re-wear every year. I’m so glad you guys love it too!

2. Edgy Fall Outfit
Although I tend to wear dressier pieces, I can never pass up the opportunity to add some edge to my looks during the colder seasons. A biker jacket and combat boots are must-have’s for me. You can style them endlessly on the weekends.
3. Workweek Chic
Knee-high boots are also a big trend this season, and these boots are such an affordable way to test drive them. The snakeskin print looks so good, especially in the darker brown color. You can pair them with sweater dresses or dark denim.

4. Camel Blazer Coat
Blazers are the ultimate layering piece – but they’re not always the warmest style. That’s why I instantly fell in love with this Abercrombie blazer coat when I saw it. It’s such a great piece to throw over sweaters or even to dress up a pair of leggings.
Express White Sherpa Coat (wearing an XXS) | Zara Faux Leather Pants (sold out, similar here) | Janessa Leone Hat (similar here) | Saint Laurent Handbag | Christian Louboutin Pumps (similar here, better for budget here)
5. Winter Whites
Besides camel, white is one of my favorite colors to wear in the fall. I love pairing cozy fabrics like faux fur and shearling with nude and camel tones for cozy chic effect. This coat has been a best seller on my blog all month long, which I’m happy to see because it’s so versatile.
6. Casual Weekend
Shopping for pieces that can be worn from the work week into the weekend are so important for me. This camel coatigan and these faux leather pants are perfect examples of that. Simply throw on a baseball cap and you’re all set to run errands in the chilly weather.
7. Cozy & Edgy
Another fall trend that I’ve been really into lately is the puffer coat. They’re not only practical but so cozy, especially if you’re going on a road trip – or need to throw on a warm outfit in a pinch. My entire look above is from Express and is so comfortable for any outdoor occasion.
Express Plaid Blazer (on sale now) | Commando Vinyl Leggings (wearing a S) | Revolve Band Tee (wearing a S/M) | Celine Edge Sunglasses (sold out, similar here – better for budget here) | Louis Vuitton Toiletry Pouch 26
8. Casual Date Night
I purchased these vinyl leggings last winter and couldn’t wait for temperatures to drop again so I could bring them back out. They’re such a great date night piece and will definitely turn heads.

9. Favorite Plaid Coat
I’ve already purchased a few plaid coats and blazers this season, but this is one of my favorites. I’ve worn it on various occasions – both dressed up and dressed down. It’s so effortless and has proven to be a timeless piece.
Lovers + Friends Gray Turtleneck Sweater (wearing an XS) | GRLFRND Distressed Denim (wearing a 23) | Celine Bag | Christian Louboutin Red Pumps (size down by 1/2, better for budget here) | Quay Sunglasses | MAC Lipstick (in ‘Russian Red’)
10. Pop Of Red
Most of you know that I love neutrals, but if I had to pick a bold color to wear, it’d definitely be red. I just love how it pops against anything – even if you’re just wearing some red pumps or carrying a red handbag.
