The Designer Bags I’ve Used Most This Summer

As summer winds down to an end, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share some of the handbags I used most this season. I acquire a few different bags throughout the year but usually carry only a small selection during the warmer seasons. That can be a result of material, color, style – or a mix of those options. Regardless, I think you’ll find that my favorite designer bags for summer will instantly elevate any outfit and transcend seasonal trends, so you’ll be able to carry them again next year. If you’re curious to know which bags are great investments for summer, keep scrolling for my all-time favorites!
Aqua Ribbed Button-Down Dress | Saint Laurent Sunglasses | Saint Laurent Raffia Crossbody Bag (take 10% off with code MINE10)
A raffia handbag is a warm weather staple and this one by Saint Laurent has been one of my favorites this summer. It’s great for storing all your essentials on long hot days when you don’t want to be bothered with a heavy, over-stuffed bag. You can save 10% on this exact bag at Farfetch with my code MINE10.
AllSaints Balfern White Leather Jacket | Karen Millen Ribbed Tank Top | Goodnight Macaroon Black Shorts | Valentino Rockstud Thong Sandals (better for budget here) | Amazon Sunglasses | Fendi Sunshine Tote (large size)
You guys have probably seen me keep the Fendi tote bag on repeat since spring – and that’s because it’s such a great bag when you’re traveling or need to carry more than just the necessities. The heat-stamped logo in the ivory color with the tortoise handles is such a great combination for summer. I really can’t get enough of this bag lately!
Cella Jane x Beach Riot One-Piece Swimsuit | Cella Jane x Beach Riot Mesh Sweater | Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Bag (take 10% off with code MINE10) | Lack Of Color Boater Hat
A linen tote goes without saying for summer! This one is my top linen/canvas pick. The fact that it’s so lightweight makes it an easy choice when I need to haul a lot or even when I’m going on a beach trip. Like the Fendi tote, it hold so much and looks amazing with just about every summer outfit.
Karen Millen White Blazer | Gucci T-Shirt | Levi’s Denim Shorts | Kurt Geiger White Heels | Gucci Horsebit Crossbody Bag | Red NY Yankees Cap
The Gucci Horsebit bag is one of my newer purchases but it’s already made its way into several of my summer outfits. The Gucci canvas and white leather duo makes it great to pair with lighter colors, which I typically wear in the summer. I also love the casual vibes it exudes with the green and red strap.
Abercrombie Cutout Bodysuit | Lulu’s Paperbag Waist Pants | Louis Vuitton Multi-Pochette Handbag | Bottega Veneta Sunglasses
My everyday summer bag is usually a toss up between the Louis Multi-Pochette Accessories Bag and the Palm Springs Mini. However, I’ve found myself going for the Multi-Pochette more this summer. The various pouches and crossbody design offer both major appeal and convenience.
Farm Rio Tiered Lace Dress | Saint Laurent Sunglasses | Bottega Veneta Chain Cassette Shoulder Bag | Valentino Rockstud Thong Sandals
White handbags are always a great pick for summer, so it’s no surprise that my Bottega Veneta Chain Cassette bag has seen so much wear lately. I also love how the padded woven design adds textural interest to any outfit.
Nordstrom White Blazer Vest | Revolve NBD Faux Leather Shorts | Saint Laurent Sunglasses | Louis Vuitton Toiletry Pouch 26 | Marc Fisher Lace-Up Heels
Another Louis Vuitton favorite has been the Toiletry Pouch. It’s my favorite as a clutch when I’m going out and want to feel a little more dressed up.
Shein Blazer (similar here and here) | NSALE White Tee | Levi’s Denim Shorts | AllSaints Combat Boots | Givenchy Antigona Handbag | Saint Laurent Sunglasses
The Givenchy Antigona handbag is no doubt one of my most-used handbags for years now. It’s particularly great in the fall because of the street style vibes. However, it’s also an excellent choice for summer when you want to bring more edge to your looks.
Abercrombie White Shirt | Abercrombie Matching Knit Set (here and here) | Similar Express Lace-Up Heels (also here) | Saint Laurent Shield Sunglasses | Bottega Veneta The Pouch Bag
I’m still 100% loving my Bottega pouches! The ivory color (mist) sees more usage in the summer when I tend to wear a lot of light neutrals. I always feel like it elevates any outfit to new heights.
