Denim trends haven’t been more exciting than now! There’s been a huge influx of new silhouettes and styles – I honestly can’t wait for the weather to cool down so I can wear all my favorites. Since jeans are one of the mainstays in our closets, it’s worth updating your collection every season. You don’t need to buy into every single trend but even just two fresh cuts will help your wardrobe stay fresh. This upcoming fall, there are 10 styles that I think every girl absolutely needs. I’ll be breaking down my picks along with stylish options that suit any budget.

1. Wide Leg
Full length wide-leg jeans are the best denim style I’ve been loving lately. The roomy fit offers more comfort than skinny jeans but also look more tailored. Just style them with basics for an easy, everyday look.
2. Crisscross Waist
Crisscross jeans feature an overlapping waist line in a variety silhouettes from baggy to slim. They’re a great style to buy into if you want something that looks fresh but doesn’t feel overly trendy.
Coated jeans are staple for me in the fall. I love the leather look it offers with the lightweight, comfortable fit of jeans. This season, give up your typical blacks for camel and chocolate brown hues.
4. Clean & Straight
If your fashion sense leans traditional and classic, then clean, straight leg jeans are the style for you. They’re easy to wear to work and to style from morning to dusk.
Flared jeans are on the rise for fall and winter – and they’re worth getting your hands on. There’s something about the leg-lengthening fit that I find so alluring. They look best with a top tucked in or with a crop top.
You should also be on the lookout for the resurgence of denim miniskirts. Thigh-grazing skirts have been on fire all year long, so it’s only natural that denim iterations would pop up next.
7. White Denim
I love wearing white denim all year long but gravitate more towards cream and ecru tones during the colder months. They always look so chic with an all-white ensemble.

8. Straight & Distressed
I’m all about effortless, off-duty style – and there’s no better way to achieve that than with distressed jeans. Any silhouette would work but my cut of choice would be a straight leg. Time and time again, I rave about these Mother jeans – and will never stop wearing them.
9. 90’s Baggy
We all know and love baggy jeans by now, which will remain essential through the colder months. Since they’re more masculine in nature, I prefer to wear mine with feminine tops, like a puff sleeve blouse or a crop top. Tailored pieces, like blazers, are also great ways to polish them up.

Skinny jeans may not be as trendy as they once were – but I think it’s safe to say that they’ve reached wardrobe staple status. With knee high and over-the-knee boots set to take over fall, you’ll need something to wear them with besides dresses and miniskirts. That’s where these jeans will come in handy.
