The first week of January is coming to an end, so I thought I’d round it off with the pieces I wore most in 2022. As a fashion influencer, I tend to cycle through my wardrobe quicker than the average person. As a result, it’s forced me to become a more conscious shopper. I might not be able to resist every trend that hits the market, but I’m able to offset it with pieces I love and constantly wear. That’s what today’s post is all about. So if you’re on the hunt for tried-and-true styles that have longevity, here are the pieces you’ll want to start with. They span across a broad price range, so you’ll find anything from affordable Amazon goods to designer bags.
I pretty much lived in this Amazon lounge set throughout the colder months last year. I initially purchased the black but loved it so much, I added the white to my collection. The long sleeves are perfect for winter and it’s just so easy to layer underneath everything from blazers to coats. The thick material is a huge bonus and truly sucks you in.
I can’t say enough great things about these sneakers. The simple design and neutral color palette looks great with any outfit whether you’re wearing an athleisure fit or jeans. I own it in multiple colorways and constantly keep an eye out for upcoming releases.
Similar White Button-Down Shirt (also love this one) | Superdown Faux Leather Skirt (wearing an XXS) | Givenchy Antigona Handbag | Christian Louboutin White Pumps (similar here, better for budget here) | Similar Cat Eye Sunglasses
This skirt is easily one of my most worn pieces of the past 3 years. It’s slimming and super flattering with the thigh slit – I can’t get enough of it. Plus, the price seriously can’t be beat for the fit and quality. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase.
AllSaints Balfern Leather Jacket (better for budget here) | Tom Ford Black Bra Tank Top (wearing an XS) | Club Monaco White Pleated Skirt (wearing an XXS, similar here) | Tom Ford Padlock Pointy Heeled Sandals | Louis Vuitton Coussin PM Bag | Celine Edge Sunglasses (similar here, better for budget here)
I added these heels to my collection early last year and they’ve made constant appearances in my outfits since. The metallic heel and gold padlock combo instantly glam up a look, which I love. They’re also surprisingly comfortable for the height.
Vince Cardigan Coat (better for budget here) | Anine Bing Sweater | Agolde Riley Crop Jeans | Christian Louboutin So Kate Pumps (better for budget here) | Bottega Veneta Chain Cassette Bag | Similar Wool Hat
The Agolde Riley Jeans are hands down my go-to denim. This pair comes in the perfect wash for year-round wear – and I love how the frayed hem adds that effortlessly chic touch. If you’re petite, it’s definitely one of the best styles to buy. You can snag it on sale now in most sizes but it’s also available here in every size.
Balmain Blazer (better for budget here) | Similar White Button-Down Shirt (also love this one) | Commando Faux Patent Leather Leggings | Tom Ford Padlock Leather Sandals | Saint Laurent Sunglasses (better for budget here) | Louis Vuitton Coussin PM Bag
As we head into the thick of winter, there’s only one piece you need to spice up your wardrobe – these Commando vinyl leggings. They’re such a show-stopper no matter how you style them. They even look great with sneakers and a hoodie. I’m so glad I picked them up years ago and have recently nabbed the white and beige patent leather ones too!
Karen Millen Cape Coat | Karen Millen Green Sweater Dress | Saint Laurent Le 5 a 7 Bag | Saint Laurent Shield Sunglasses (better for budget here) | Paris Texas Knee-High Boots (better for budget here and here)
I scooped up quite a bit of designer pieces last year, but there were a few key styles I kept reaching for. This hobo bag was no doubt one of them. The size and shape is just so practical for everyday and it looks immaculate with evening looks. For a thorough review, be sure to check out this post HERE.
It’s no secret that I have a sneaker addiction. They’re a surefire way to make an athleisure outfit look beyond basic. One of my favorite picks of 2022 has to be the Dunk High Sneakers. They were super hard to get a hold of, so if they’ve been on your wish list, scoop them up here before they sell out again.
As far as warm weather bags go, the Bottega Veneta Jodie Mini takes the cake. The iconic intrecciato weave adds a textural element to your outfits like no other bag. It holds just enough items to be useful for day or night. For more on this bag, refer back to my review HERE.
Another Amazon find that I just couldn’t quit was this biker short set. It’s perfect for high-impact workouts but also looks super cute for daily wear. In my wardrobe, you’ll find the cream, brown and red colors but don’t be surprised if I pick up a few more this year.
