Although I live for cozy layers and a killer coat, I’m very much over the frigid temperatures now and so ready for spring. Fortunately, February is over and March brings us closer to the warmer seasons. This past month, I purchased a ton of loungewear and foresee myself wearing these pieces throughout spring as we all continue to stay home. I also started sprinkling more spring-friendly pieces into my closet, like trench coats, feminine tops, and knit dresses. It’s these transitional pieces that motivate me to get dressed right now. 1. Amazon Basics

If you’re looking for easy basics that can you wear now and once the weather warms up, Amazon is the place for you. This bodysuit was one of my favorite purchases last year and it’s been perfect for tucking into jeans and layering underneath coats all through winter.

2. Chunky Sweater Weather

This chunky sweater might be pricey but it’s 100% worth the investment. It adds that effortless feel to any outfit – and looks super refreshing with white jeans and suede pumps for spring. It hardly ever stays in stock for long, so grab it now while you can.

3. Touch of Lace

Here’s one of my favorite spring transitional outfits. The lace bodysuit, maxi cardigan, and ripped jeans are all pieces you can wear now but also later.

4. Head-to-Toe Camel

I’ve been living in and loving Forever 21 loungewear sets. This is one of the coziest and most affordable looks you can buy. Although it’s great for relaxing at home, you can also wear it out with combat boots. I’ve also gotten a ton of questions about the pearl-embellished boots – they’re by Stuart Weitzman and on sale now!

5. Walmart Loungewear

Walmart has been another one of my go-to spots for affordable loungewear. I’m so impressed with how soft and cozy this 3-piece set is. Each of the pieces can be worn separately with items in your wardrobe, but they look so chic together too.

6. Winter Layers

As much as I wish it was spring, winter can extend well into April in Minnesota. I usually take advantage of this time to pick up last minute winter pieces that I can wear later in the year. This affordable shearling jacket is one of those pieces that won’t be going out of style anytime soon.

7. Date Night Look

I’m always looking for an excuse to get dressed up – and the only thing making that happen right now is date night. This knit midi dress was a no-brainer purchase because it’s so easy to dress up or down. It’s also light enough that you’ll be able to wear it through spring.

8. Weekend Cozy

This is one of the best times to shop for coats with winter coming to an end. Retailers are marking down some of their best coats, which means you can score huge discounts on great pieces – like this teddy bear coat. Layer it over a white or cream loungewear set for an extra cozy touch.

9. Gray Layers

This Topshop coat is another great piece on sale. In fact, I loved it so much I ended up getting it in three different colors. You can see how I styled those here and here. Gray has been under the radar for a quite some time now, but it’s gaining traction in 2021. This coat puts the cherry on top of any monochromatic gray outfit.

10. Perfect Spring Trench
