A Week of Chic Fall Workwear Outfits

Work life is returning back to normal as many of us head back to the office for in-person meetings. The timing couldn’t be trickier with cooler weather underway. If you’re anything like me, you probably want to look professional but stylish at the same time. The good news is that there are plenty of ways to incorporate some of the season’s best trends into your looks while still keeping things work-appropriate. You’ll just need to pair them with a strong selection of basics, including chunky cardigans, polished leggings and smart outerwear. To help you make the transition a little more seamless, I thought I’d share a full week of fall workwear looks you can recreate.

Pencil Skirt & Mock Neck Top
As much as I love neutrals, I can’t deny that fall is going to be all about vibrant, saturated hues. This look here is a great transitional outfit for the office because it feels quite summery. Once fall officially hits, you can put a cool weather spin on it with a structured coat.
Express Coat Vest | Free People Tunic Sweater | Stuart Weitzman Over-The-Knee Boots | Saint Laurent Solferino Bag | Fendi Sunglasses
Knit Dress & Vest
One of the fall trends I’m loving is the vest. You can take it into the workplace by opting for a tailored coat vest or blazer vest. I love how it looks layered with knit dresses and boots

Midi Skirt & Chunky Knit Sweater
Office dressing in the fall doesn’t get better than a midi skirt and chunky knit sweater. This classic combination always looks chic.
Express Houndstooth Blazer | Revolve Wide Leg Trousers | Amazon Corset Top (under $30) | Gucci Horsebit 1955 Handbag (read my full review HERE) | Bottega Veneta Sunglasses
Plaid Blazer & Wide Leg Pants
Menswear-inspired silhouettes and soft tailoring are also huge themes this season. As you can probably tell, I can’t get enough of plaid and houndstooth blazers. For a luxe, sophisticated look, just pair them with some wide leg trousers.
Karen Millen Cape | Commando Faux Leather Leggings | Christian Louboutin So Kate Pumps (better for budget here) | Chanel Bag | Gucci Sunglasses
Cape or Poncho & Leggings
A cape coat or poncho will always be a classic in my book. I can’t think of a more lady-like outfit than a swingy coat teamed with skinny pants or leggings. This look will surely impress at the office.
Similar Express White Coat | Turtleneck Sweater | Similar Faux Leather Pants | Christian Louboutin So Kate Pumps (better for budget here) | Saint Laurent Sunset Bag | Similar Hat
Split Hem Pants, Turtleneck Sweater & Tailored Coat
If you want to put a modern twist on your fall workwear, then you definitely need a pair of split hem pants. Styling them is as simple as adding a turtleneck sweater and tailored coat.
Karen Millen Camel Leather Trench | Levi’s White Jeans | Christian Louboutin So Kate Pumps (better for budget here) | Louis Vuitton Toiletry Pouch 26 | Bottega Veneta Sunglasses
Belted Jacket & Clean Denim
For Casual Fridays at the office, a pair of clean cut jeans are a must-have. There are countless ways to make them feel directional for fall, but I can’t recommend a belted jacket enough. It always makes a statement and dresses up denim.
